Return & Refund Policy
We want you to love every item you order from Mystic Modesty. But if something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help make the return process clear and fair.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all orders placed through www.mysticmodesty.com, including full-priced items, sale items, hygiene products, and personalised goods. Please read it carefully so you know what to expect before placing your order.
2. Return Window
You have 14 days from the date your parcel is delivered to start a return. The item must also be shipped back within that same 14-day window.
We won’t be able to accept returns that are submitted or posted after the return period ends.
3. How to Start a Return
To make things easier, all returns are handled through our online returns portal. No need to email — you can start the process in just a few steps:
Please note: For international orders (such as the UK), return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Our system will generate a return label based on your location, and the cost of that label (along with any applicable customs fees) will be deducted from your refund as a handling fee.
You’ll see the exact fee before confirming your return, so there are no surprises.
- Enter your order number and shipping zip code.
- Select your return reason.
- Follow the instructions to submit your return.
Once submitted, we’ll take care of the rest and keep you updated as it moves through review and refund processing.
4. Return Conditions
We kindly ask that all returned items meet the following criteria:
- Unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
- With all original hangtags, packaging, and labels attached
- No stains, makeup, perfume, smoke, or any signs of wear
- Not altered, misused, or damaged after delivery
- All gifts or accessories from the original order included
If your return doesn’t meet these conditions, we may have to send it back to you.
5. Return Shipping & Handling Fee
Return shipping labels are provided through our returns portal. For international orders (outside the Netherlands) the return shipping costs are your responsibility.
A handling fee is deducted from your refund during the return process. This fee covers:
- The cost of the return shipping label
- Any customs clearance or import processing fees
The exact fee is shown during your return request, based on your location. You’ll see it before confirming the return.
6. When We Cover the Return Costs
If we’ve made a mistake or something arrived damaged, of course we’ll make it right — and fast. We’ll cover all return shipping costs and waive any handling fees if:
- Your item arrived damaged: Please upload a clear photo in the portal within 48 hours of delivery. Once approved by our team, your full refund will be processed without fees.
- You received the wrong item: Upload a photo showing what you received. We’ll fix it and cover all return costs once confirmed.
7. What Can’t Be Returned
To keep things hygienic and fair to all our customers, the following items are not returnable (unless damaged or incorrect):
- Custom-made or personalised products
- Hygiene-sensitive items (like socks, underwear, or swimwear) if the seal is broken
- Items marked as Final Sale
- Items returned without the original hangtags
8. Refund Processing
As soon as your return arrives, we’ll inspect it to make sure everything meets the return conditions. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days.
Please keep your return tracking number — we may need it if the package gets delayed or goes missing on the way back.
Mystic Modesty reserves the right to reject any returns that don’t meet the requirements outlined above.
9. Cancelling an Order
If you need to cancel your order, please contact us right away. We can cancel and refund the order as long as it hasn’t shipped yet.
If the order is already on its way, you’ll need to wait for delivery and then follow the return process above.
10. My Parcel Says “Delivered” But I Never Got It
If your parcel was marked as delivered but isn’t anywhere to be found (not in your mailbox, safe place, or with a neighbour), here’s what to do:
- File a police report for a missing or stolen parcel — this is required by our courier insurance.
- Once filed, please contact us with your order number and a copy of the report.
We can’t assist with “missing after delivery” claims unless a police report is provided first. Once we have it, we’ll take care of things quickly for you.
We know this can be stressful, and we’ll do our best to support you — but we need this step for security and insurance reasons.
11. Your Rights
This policy doesn’t affect your legal rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
