Mariya - Aquatic Blue

The Mariya in Aquatic Blue is a long sleeve wedding guest dress in blue satin, floor length with long split sleeves, a ruched bodice and a corset style laced back waist tied in a bow. The shade is a clear aquatic blue that softens toward dusty blue in low light, one of the most requested wedding guest colours because it flatters in photographs and never competes with the bridal party. Fully lined and opaque, with a high round neckline and full arm coverage, it needs nothing layered over or under it.

The satin is thick with a soft sheen, with a slight stretch and a clean drape that skims the body without clinging or adding bulk. Ruching shapes the bodice, the corset lacing at the back crosses three levels in a zigzag and ties in a bow so you can adjust the waist precisely to you, and the long split sleeves, cut in a smooth, mostly opaque chiffon and satin blend, catch the light as they move, which is where the dress earns its second glance.

The skirt is thick satin with a soft sheen and a slight stretch; it falls in a clean line and gains a gentle shine when steamed. The bodice and the long split sleeves are a smooth chiffon and satin blend with the same sheen in a lighter touch. The bodice is fully lined; the sleeves are mostly opaque.
